Competency-based assessments & psychometrics
Resolve Encounter Consulting specializes in assessment practises for selection and placement, training and development, career development, coaching, leadership development and organisational restructuring with a strong track record in large-scale delivery. We are in the unique position of providing a comprehensive assessment as we utilise an assessment centre approach. We conduct a legally defensible process with added fairness as we employ multiple evaluation tools, which are then integrated to provide a holistic view of the individual's competence. In addition to determining levels of competence, we are able to predict future performance and provide a multi faceted view of the person assessed. Our services are highly customised, focusing on the individual’s level of competence within the greater work context, to ensure that our clients get the maximum benefit from our interventions.

Resolve Encounter Consulting has over 60 qualified executive coaches and trainers based in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban. With the calibre of coaches, trainers, developers, psychologists and subject matter experts that we employ, Resolve Encounter Consulting is able to offer the very latest in the field of human development. Our highly skilled and trained professionals, bring to our service offering their learning and experience, both national and international, and guarantee the highest level of discretion and expertise available.
Our coaching trainers, coaches and coach supervisors are all either professional psychologists who have been working in the coaching field for years and/or are individuals with Masters degrees, Doctorates or Diplomas from respected institutions in South Africa and abroad. Several of our coaches are also faculty members in various coaching training programs available at institutions around the country. All our coaches are members of COMENSA (Coaches and Mentors of South Africa), which is affiliated to the European Coaching and Mentoring Council. Our training team includes registered and qualified trainers, assessors and a registered moderator. Our training director, Claire Höck, who specialises in Labour Law, is also a lecturer at leading South African business schools. Our asessment team comprises registered senior psychologists and psychometrists, two of whom hold doctorates and have published widely in leading national and international journals and publications. Our executive directors are recognised leaders in their specialist fields. We are proud that one of our non-executive directors (Sunny Stout Rostron) is a senior member of the World Association of Business Coaches (WABC) and sits on the WABC international panel of experts that assess standards and ethics for coaching on three continents. Sunny is also currently the Chairperson of COMENSA (Coaching and Mentoring Association of South Africa).
